Enshrouded server hosting — live

Enshrouded server hosting
with all 37 settings built in.

On a dedicated server, Enshrouded's own in-game settings menu goes read-only and tells players to "use the server interface of the provider." This is that interface — every one of the game's 37 world settings, plus the full role system, a labeled field in your panel. We diffed it against the settings list the server itself writes: 37/37, nothing missing — each one verified in-game on our hardware.

The game points players at this panel.
Ours holds all 37.

World settings, difficulty curves, loss rules, day length, the whole role system — the entire surface, labeled:

01 — The menu the game points to

"Use the server interface of the provider"

That's Enshrouded's own message — on a dedicated server, the in-game settings menu is read-only by the game's design and points players at their host's panel. This is that panel, and ours holds every setting.

02 — Verified 37/37

Complete — and we checked

The server writes out its full settings list. We diffed our panel against it live: 37/37, nothing missing. Every field was changed, felt in-game, and cleanly reverted on our own hardware before we listed it.

03 — The full role system

Roles, not one password

Each role gets its own password — the one a player types at join decides their role. Kick/ban rights, inventory access, build rights, reserved slots: all labeled fields, per role.

04 — No silent footguns

The Custom-preset trap, handled

Enshrouded silently ignores every custom setting unless the preset is set to Custom. Our panel handles that automatically — your changes always take. And a one-click Reset to vanilla puts everything back, instantly.

Change a value in the panel, restart, it's applied. No config files. Ever.

Don't take our word for it.

THE TRAP: on a named preset the game silently ignores every gameplay setting. Our egg flips this to Custom for you the moment you change anything — watch it happen when you drag a slider.

One honest size — and a cap we didn't invent.

Enshrouded caps at 16 players no matter who hosts it — we just say so out loud. The official footprint is about 4.4 GB idle plus ~100 MB per player, under 6 GB even at full slots. 8 GB is deliberate headroom, not a number we need you to need.

Bringing an existing world? Upload your savegame folder through the panel's file manager and keep playing where you left off — and it stays yours to download, always. During Early Access the game is PC-only; 1.0 (slated Fall 2026) is set to bring PS5 and Xbox, and we'll verify what that means for player-hosted servers the week it ships.

Enshrouded server hosting — straight answers

How much does Enshrouded server hosting cost?

$24/mo — one plan: 8 GB of guaranteed dedicated RAM and the game's full 16-player cap. The first 20 founder servers across our games get 20% off for as long as they stay subscribed — code FOUNDER20 at checkout makes it $19.20/mo, locked. No player-slot pricing, no setup fee, no upsells.

Can I change settings after the server is running?

Any time — in your panel, with a restart. That's not a workaround, it's how Enshrouded works: on a dedicated server the game makes its own in-game settings menu read-only and tells players to "use the server interface of the provider." This is that interface. Change a field, restart, it's applied.

Is it really every Enshrouded server setting?

All 37 — and we can say that precisely because we checked it against the game itself. The server writes out its full settings list; we diffed our panel against it live: 37/37, nothing missing. Every field was changed, felt in-game, and cleanly reverted on our own hardware before we listed it. The full role system sits on top of that.

How do roles and passwords work?

Enshrouded doesn't have one server password — it has roles. Each role gets its own password, and whichever password a player types at join decides their role. Per role you control kick/ban rights, inventory access, build rights, and reserved slots — all labeled fields in the panel. "Friends can build, visitors can look" is a couple of fields, not a config file.

How many players can join my server?

Up to 16 — that's Enshrouded's own hard cap, and it's the same on every host. Anyone selling you a bigger Enshrouded slot count is selling slots the game can't fill. Our one plan covers the full 16.

Are mods supported?

No — vanilla only, on purpose, every game we host. And Enshrouded is the easiest place to say it: the game has no official mod support, so vanilla is simply how everyone plays it. Our no-mods policy costs an Enshrouded buyer literally nothing — and you still get what it buys: nobody else's mod stack can balloon and starve the box your world runs on.

Can I move my existing Enshrouded world here?

Yes — upload your savegame folder through the panel's file manager and keep playing where you left off. It works the other direction too: your world is always yours to download. Exit insurance, included.

Where are the Enshrouded servers located?

New York, US-East — on an AMD Ryzen 9950X with NVMe storage, a DDoS-protected US network, and a single direct game port (no proxy hops). One location today; more regions when enough people ask.

Why 8 GB — how much RAM does an Enshrouded server actually use?

The official footprint is about 4.4 GB idle plus roughly 100 MB per player — under 6 GB even at the full 16 slots. 8 GB is deliberate headroom, not a number we need you to need. One honest size instead of a ladder of tiers to guess between.

Will my server be ready for Enshrouded 1.0?

Yes. The server auto-updates on restart, and we re-verify the full settings surface against each patch on our own hardware — 1.0 (slated Fall 2026) gets that treatment the week it ships. On consoles: Early Access is PC-only; 1.0 is set to bring PS5 and Xbox, and we'll verify exactly what that means for player-hosted servers at launch rather than promise it now.
